Pilaf, Demi Moore’s chihuahua, may be extremely tiny, tipping the scales at only 1.2 pounds – But she has a huge stage presence. And she proved it recently on The Graham Norton Show. (The pup is so small, Moore even petitioned on behalf of Pilaf to be named Guinness World Record’s Shortest Dog)
Pilaf has been making plenty of headlines this year, appearing at fashion shows and movie premieres. Graham Norton brought up how Pilaf was recently a cover dog for Vogue Magazine’s “Dogue” edition. After hyping Pilaf up, Moore revealed Pilaf was backstage. Then when Norton asked the crowd if she should bring her out, an expected cheer erupted. Norton, clearly a dog lover, immediately got down to Pilaf’s level when she took the stage.
Demi Moore held up Pilaf in all her glory, with the YouTube comment, “Demi in that outfit and with that hair and holding that dog? Next Bond villain.” getting 200 likes.
Moore also handed Pilaf to Lady Gaga, who was giddy with excitement. Moore mentioned Pilaf is 4 years old and had to have teeth removed, giving her her signature tongue-filled smile. Colin Farrell requested a selfie with Pilaf. British comedian Richard Ayoade, usually quick with witty comments, clearly had his breath taken away by Pilaf’s presence.
