In 2022, Alison Appleby and her service dog Brady made headlines after both receiving crowns for Appleby winning the Miss Dallas Teen pageant. Appleby got Brady to assist with her epilepsy. And her win marked the first time a teen with epilepsy took home the crown.
Appleby used her win to help advocate for girls with disabilities, spread awareness of epilepsy, and show how awesome service doggos are!
Since then, Appleby and Brady have used their recognition to advocate for disabilities and other great causes everywhere they go.
