Actress Angie Harmon and her daughters had an incredibly traumatic Easter weekend, where their rescue dog Oliver was shot and killed by an Instacart delivery driver.
According to Harmon, after an Instacart driver dropped off her groceries, he then shot and killed one of her dogs. The driver claimed self-defence, with Harmon saying in her Instagram post below, “The police let him go b/c he claimed ‘self defense’. He did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn.” Many fans and celebrity friends left comments, including Chelsea Handler who said, “Omg. How absolutely awful. Sending you a lot of love.”
To the man who took Ollie away from us: your actions are despicable and inexcusable. You’ve not only robbed us of a beloved member of our family but you’ve also traumatized us beyond measure. The fact that someone could commit such a heartless act is beyond comprehension to me and I’m devastated that I didn’t get to say goodbye to him.

While what was supposed to be a joyful Easter with her family had become a nightmare, Harmon shared a faith-inspired quote as well as one from the bible.
People obtained a copy of the police incident report, which stated the case is still open but classified as a “non-criminal incident.” So we will have to wait for the next update to see if Harmon and her family see any justice from this terrible act. Harmon is an adoption advocate with many rescue pets, including a recently rescued squirrel.
