The Red Hot Chili Peppers started a wonderful tradition on their current tour that we hope other bands follow: Inviting pups backstage to party it up with them! Ok, so the dogs aren’t just there to party, nibble on caviar kibble, and sip on sparkling bone broth. They’re brought in from a shelter local to their concert venue that night.
The tradition started at the beginning of June and the photos quickly went viral. This got the attention of shelters located along their tour stops, who then started reaching out to the band and Live Nation.
The pups are brought in before the show and all the chaos starts, along with picking pups that don’t mind all the noise and attention. And besides the fun and cuddle therapy, these backstage parties hope to get these dogs adopted, while also raising awareness for their shelters and for adoption in general.
And enjoy the collection of rescue dog parties from their recent concerts below!
And nobody tell Flea he’s actually holding a baby goat and not a puppy it’ll break his heart.
