Would it piss you off to see your ex having fun traveling the world without you? What if it was your ex-dog? Well, that’s what Sofia Vergara has to deal with – Since her now ex-dog, Bubbles, left her for her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello.
After seven years of marriage, Vergara and Manganiello publicly called it quits in the summer of 2023, before making it official in early 2024. The couple had no human babies together, so when they announced their separation, fans and the media wanted to know what would happen to their fur baby.
Vergara, while she was the one that adopted Bubbles, said she wanted the pup to be happy and let Joe keep her. And from stories Vergara shared about Bubbles’ opinion of her, the pup is definitely pleased with her decision. And with Bubbles appearing in Joe’s arms regularly on his Instagram, the money was already on Joe taking custody.

But the Today 3rd Hour hosts had to ask about Bubbles, who Joe is famous for carrying with him everywhere he goes. Joe, who is of Italian descent, shares that he was able to qualify for Italian citizenship and plans to live there, as he goes there every year anyway. And most importantly, he shared he was able to get Bubbles a European Passport! So fans of Joe and Bubbles will be treated to the happily divorced couple enjoying beaches in Sicily, sipping espresso in Florence, and other Italian adventures this summer!
