Wendy Makkena's Pets

Wendy Makkena is an American actress known for her role as Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act (1992) and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993). She appeared in recurring roles on television series including NCIS (2005–2006), The Job (2001–2002), and Oliver Beene (2003–2004). Her Broadway credits include Pygmalion (1987) and Lend Me a Tenor (1989).

In Sister Act, Makkena acted alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith, portraying a shy novitiate who becomes part of a church choir. In NCIS, she played Dr. Rachel Cranston, sharing scenes with Mark Harmon and David McCallum. On The Job, she worked opposite Denis Leary in a police comedy setting. In Oliver Beene, she acted as Susan Beene with Grant Shaud. She appeared in the film Air Bud (1997), working with Michael Jeter. She guest-starred on Judging Amy (2003), acting with Amy Brenneman. She also had a supporting role in State of Play (2009), appearing in scenes with Russell Crowe.
