Tyler Oakley
Tyler Oakley is a social media personality, LGBTQ+ advocate, author, and podcast host. He gained popularity in the early 2010s through his YouTube channel, where he shared comedic and personal videos on a variety of topics. Oakley has also appeared on television shows, including “The Amazing Race” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and co-hosted “The Tyler Oakley Show” on Ellen’s digital network.
A milestone in Oakley’s career was the release of his memoir, “Binge,” in 2015, which debuted at #2 on the New York Times Best Seller list. He has also hosted the “Psychobabble” podcast with fellow YouTuber Korey Kuhl since 2015, where they discuss pop culture, current events, and personal stories.
Oakley has collaborated with numerous celebrities and public figures throughout his career. He has interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama and actress Emma Watson, as well as worked with musicians Troye Sivan, Lady Gaga, and One Direction. He has also been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has partnered with organizations such as The Trevor Project and GLAAD.
