Rhamondre Stevenson
Rhamondre Stevenson is an American football running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma, where he was a bowl game MVP, and was selected by the Patriots in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Stevenson’s professional career began when he was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round, 120th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. His rookie season saw a gradual increase in playing time, culminating in a breakout game in week 9 against the Carolina Panthers, where he amassed 106 all-purpose yards. In the 2022 season, Stevenson had a standout performance in Week 5 against the Detroit Lions, rushing for 161 yards on 25 carries in a 29–0 win. By the end of the 2022 season, he had accumulated 1,040 rushing yards and five touchdowns, along with 69 catches for 421 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Throughout his career, Stevenson has worked alongside notable teammates such as Damien Harris, Mac Jones, and DeVante Parker. His performance has also been influenced by the coaching staff, including Bill Belichick, and he has competed against prominent players like Christian McCaffrey, Baker Mayfield, and Derrick Henry.
Stevenson’s career has not gone unnoticed, as he was named the MVP of the 2020 Cotton Bowl while playing for Oklahoma. In the NFL, his performances have earned him a reputation as a reliable running back, especially in the 2022 season where he became a key contributor to the Patriots’ offense.
