Randy Orton is an American professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to WWE and performs on the Raw brand. He is a third-generation professional wrestler, as his grandfather Bob Orton, Sr., father “Cowboy” Bob Orton, and uncle Barry Orton were wrestlers. Orton is a 12-time world champion and is widely considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Orton began his wrestling career in 2000, joining WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). He quickly rose through the ranks, and made his main roster debut in 2002. He soon established himself as one of the top stars in the company, and has won numerous championships and accolades throughout his career, including the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the United States Championship. Orton is also known for his finishing move “RKO” which is a leaping cutter. He has also appeared in several films and television shows, including “12 Rounds 2: Reloaded” and “The Condemned 2.”

A standout collaboration was his early pairing with Triple H as part of the Evolution faction in WWE. This alliance launched Orton into the main event scene, facilitating his ascension as the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE’s history. Subsequently, an intense rivalry with The Undertaker unfolded, featuring a series of iconic matches that solidified Orton’s status as a top-tier performer.

Interactions with John Cena became an essential chapter in Orton’s career narrative. Their repeated showdowns, including a memorable Iron Man match at the 2009 Bragging Rights pay-per-view, established them as defining superstars of their era. Importantly, Orton’s intricate relationship with Edge, with its rollercoaster of alliances and rivalries, culminated in the critically acclaimed “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” at WWE’s Backlash 2020.
