Rachel House
Rachel House is a New Zealand actress and director known for her work across film, television, and theatre. House’s film roles include “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” (2016) and “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017). She voiced Tala in Disney’s “Moana” (2016). In television, she appeared in “The Bad Seed” (2019) and “The Brokenwood Mysteries” (2014-2018). In theatre, House has acted in and directed productions such as “The Pohutukawa Tree” and “The Warriors.”
House collaborated with Taika Waititi on “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” She worked with Disney in “Moana” and with Niki Caro on “The Zookeeper’s Wife.” She collaborated with Sam Neill in “The Piano” and worked with the Auckland Theatre Company on several productions. House has also worked with actor Julian Dennison in “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and with director Ainsley Gardiner in theatre projects.
