Jack
Quinta Brunson has a cat named Jack, who she got from a Saturday adoption at a Petco. Brunson says Jack inspired her to create her web series Up for Adoption, which cast real pets from shelters and adoption centers. Jack appeared with Brunson in the BuzzFeed video, “Conversations You Have With Your Cat“.

Quinta Brunson is an American comedian, writer, and actress. She’s best known for her role on the hit sketch comedy series Rough Night and for creating and starring in the web series The Girl Who’s Never Been on a Nice Date, which won her a Streamy Award in 2017. She has also appeared in several films and television shows, including Girl Code, The Mindy Project and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. which won her a Streamy Award in 2017. Brunson created, produces, writes, and stars in the ABC comedy series Abbott Elementary (2021-), which earned her three Emmy Award nominations and won her the 2023 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Series. In 2022, she was included in the Time 100 Most Influential People list. Abbot Elementary also stars Janelle James, Tyler James Williams, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and William Stanford Davis.
