Poorna Jagannathan is an American actress and producer known for her role as Dr. Nalini Vishwakumar in Netflix’s Never Have I Ever (2020–present) and for her work in the Indian film Delhi Belly (2011).

Jagannathan’s television work includes The Night Of (2016), where she portrayed Safar Khan, a significant role in the series. In film, she appeared in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Delhi Belly, a successful Bollywood production. She is also known for her production of the critically acclaimed play Nirbhaya.

Jagannathan collaborated with Mindy Kaling in Never Have I Ever. She worked with Riz Ahmed in The Night Of and acted alongside Imran Khan in Delhi Belly. In The Namesake, she shared the screen with Kal Penn.
