Manuel Neuer is a German professional footballer who has served as the first-choice goalkeeper for both Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. He won the 2014 FIFA World Cup and was awarded the Golden Glove as the tournament’s best goalkeeper. He has won multiple Bundesliga titles and UEFA Champions League titles with Bayern Munich. Neuer was named the IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper multiple times and placed third in the 2014 Ballon d’Or voting.

He played alongside Philipp Lahm during Germany’s 2014 World Cup campaign. At Bayern Munich, he won the UEFA Champions League with Thomas Müller and helped maintain a consistent backline with Jérôme Boateng. He shared multiple domestic title wins with Robert Lewandowski, who led the attack during the club’s successful seasons. His tenure with Mats Hummels on the national team included participation in major tournaments such as Euro 2016. In the 2012–13 Champions League season, he featured prominently in matches alongside Franck Ribéry. His club and national appearances also included regular coordination with Joshua Kimmich in defensive transitions.
