Mandy Patinkin
Mandy Patinkin is an American actor and singer known for his extensive work in theatre, film, and television. He played Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride and received Tony and Emmy Awards.
Patinkin began his career with a role in the original Broadway production of Evita, winning a Tony Award. He starred in Sunday in the Park with George. He appeared in Chicago Hope, earning an Emmy Award, and later played Saul Berenson in Homeland, which led to additional award nominations. His film roles include Dick Tracy and Alien Nation.
Patinkin collaborated with Robin Wright in The Princess Bride. He worked with Adam Arkin on Chicago Hope. On Homeland, he collaborated with Claire Danes. He shared the stage with Bernadette Peters in Sunday in the Park with George. He performed with Patti LuPone in Evita. He recorded and performed with Barbra Streisand in concerts.
