Liam Hemsworth
Liam Hemsworth is an Australian actor. His career started with roles in Australian TV shows such as Neighbours and Satisfaction. In 2009, made the move to Hollywood and had a part opposite Sylvester Stallone in The Expendables, but his part was cut from the script. He then auditioned for the lead role in the 2011 movie Thor, which he lost to his brother Chris Hemsworth. He is best known for his role in The Hunger Games movies and most recently for starring in 2016’s Independence Day: Resurgence.
He is a vegan, dog lover and vocal activist for animal rights. Liam has an older brother Luke Hemsworth.
Liam Hemsworth Relationships
While filming The Last Song in June 2009, Hemsworth began a relationship with his co-star Miley Cyrus. After a three-year on-again, off-again relationship, the couple announced their engagement in June 2012. They lived together in Los Angeles but ended their engagement in September 2013. Hemsworth and Cyrus married on 23 December 2018 at their home in Nashville, Tennessee. On 10 August 2019, Cyrus announced their separation. Eleven days later, Hemsworth filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. On 28 January 2020, it was announced that their divorce had been finalized.
