He gained popularity as a grooming expert on the Netflix series Queer Eye, his work on the web series parody Gay of Thrones, and for hosting the Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness podcast. He also co-founded a pet food brand called Yummers with Queer Eye co-star Antoni Porowski.
