Joe Goddard
Joe Goddard is a British musician, producer, and songwriter known for his work with the electronic music band Hot Chip and the duo The 2 Bears.
Goddard is a founding member of Hot Chip, a band known for its blend of electronic, indie, and dance music. The band has released several successful albums, including “The Warning” and “Made in the Dark,” both nominated for the Mercury Prize. Goddard has also released solo projects, such as the album “Electric Lines,” featuring tracks like “Home” and “Music Is the Answer.” In addition to his work with Hot Chip, Goddard formed The 2 Bears with Raf Rundell, releasing albums like “Be Strong” and “The Night Is Young.”
Throughout his career, Joe Goddard has collaborated with several notable musicians and producers. He worked with Alexis Taylor, his bandmate in Hot Chip, on creating the band’s music. Goddard collaborated with Raf Rundell in The 2 Bears. He worked with British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware on the track “Night Light.” Goddard remixed tracks for artists such as Disclosure and The Chemical Brothers. He collaborated with UK artist Mara Carlyle on the song “She Burns.” Additionally, Goddard worked with producer and DJ Erol Alkan. He also contributed to the album “Overpowered” by Róisín Murphy.
