Joanna Lumley
Joanna Lumley is a British actress and presenter best known for her role as Patsy Stone in the television series Absolutely Fabulous. She has won two BAFTA TV Awards for her performance in the series. Lumley’s acting career began in the 1960s, where she played Purdey in The Avengers. She starred in Absolutely Fabulous from 1992 to 2012. Her film appearances include The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), James and the Giant Peach (1996), and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969). She has also presented several travel documentary series, including Joanna Lumley’s India and Joanna Lumley’s Silk Road Adventure.
Lumley collaborated with Jennifer Saunders in Absolutely Fabulous and Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. She appeared with Timothy Dalton in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and worked with Simon Callow in James and the Giant Peach. Lumley also starred alongside Idris Elba in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie and traveled with the Dalai Lama for her documentary series The Quest for Happiness.
