Jesse Spencer began his career on the Australian soap opera “Neighbours,” where he played Billy Kennedy from 1994 to 2000. He gained international recognition for his role as Dr. Robert Chase on the American medical drama “House,” which he starred in from 2004 to 2012. Spencer later took on the role of Captain Matthew Casey in the NBC drama “Chicago Fire,” a part he played from 2012 until his departure in 2021.

Throughout his career, Jesse Spencer has collaborated with several prominent actors. In “House,” he worked alongside Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, and Robert Sean Leonard. On “Chicago Fire,” he acted with Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, and Monica Raymund.
