Jason Hook
Jason Hook is a Canadian musician and songwriter best known as the former lead guitarist for the American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. He joined the band in 2009, contributing to several of their successful albums, including American Capitalist and The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell. Hook has also worked as a session musician and songwriter for various artists.
Hook collaborated with Ivan Moody and Zoltan Bathory in Five Finger Death Punch, co-writing numerous tracks that achieved commercial success. He contributed to hits such as “Bad Company” and “Remember Everything,” helping the band earn gold and platinum certifications. Hook worked with Alice Cooper, performing as a touring guitarist and contributing to live shows. He collaborated with Mandy Moore as a guitarist and session musician. Hook released solo albums, including Safety Dunce, highlighting his technical guitar skills. He participated in the documentary Hired Gun, offering insights into his career as a session musician.
