James Roday Rodriguez's Pets

James Roday Rodriguez is an American actor and writer best known for his role as Shawn Spencer in the USA Network series Psych (2006–2014) and its follow-up films. He has also appeared in various television dramas and comedies and co-wrote multiple episodes and films within the Psych franchise.

In Psych, he acted alongside Dulé Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, and Corbin Bernsen. He starred in A Million Little Things (2018–2023), performing with Romany Malco and Allison Miller. He appeared in Miss Match (2003), sharing scenes with Alicia Silverstone. He had a recurring role in First Years (2001), acting opposite Ken Marino. He co-starred in Psych: The Movie (2017), Psych 2: Lassie Come Home (2020), and Psych 3: This Is Gus (2021), continuing collaborations with the original cast. He also guest-starred in Battleground (2012), performing with Jay Hayden and Teri Reeves.
