Jakub Gierszał's Pets

Jakub Gierszał is a Polish actor known for his lead role in Suicide Room (2011), where he portrayed a teenager struggling with cyberbullying. He received a European Film Award nomination for Best European Actor for his role in Nieulotne (2013).

He starred in the horror musical The Lure (2015) alongside Marta Mazurek, exploring the life of two mermaid sisters. In Spoor (2017), Poland’s Academy Award submission, he acted with Agnieszka Mandat in a story addressing environmental and societal issues. He appeared in United States of Love (2016) with Julia Kijowska, depicting the complexities of life in post-communist Poland. Gierszał lent his voice to Cattle Hill (2018), an animated feature. His collaboration with Andrzej Chyra in Suicide Room brought attention to social isolation and mental health.
