Jack O’Connell
Jack O’Connell is an English actor renowned for his roles in the television series “Skins” and the film “Unbroken.” He received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2015.[1]
O’Connell’s career began with a role in the television series “Doctors” in 2005.[2] He gained prominence portraying James Cook in “Skins” from 2009 to 2010 and reprised the role in 2013.[3] In 2014, he starred as Louis Zamperini in “Unbroken,” a performance that earned him critical acclaim.[4] His portrayal of Eric Love in “Starred Up” (2013) and Gary Hook in “’71” (2014) further showcased his acting range.[5] In 2017, he played Roy Goode in the Netflix miniseries “Godless,” receiving a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination.[6] O’Connell’s collaborations with actors such as Julia Roberts and George Clooney in “Money Monster” (2016), Sienna Miller in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” (2017), and Michelle Dockery in “Godless” have been significant in his career.[7]
