Himesh Patel is a British actor and singer recognized for his role in the film Yesterday and the TV series EastEnders. He played Jack Malik in Yesterday (2019), a film directed by Danny Boyle. Patel’s role as Tamwar Masood on EastEnders spanned from 2007 to 2016.

In addition to Yesterday, Patel appeared in The Aeronauts (2019) and the HBO Max series Station Eleven (2021). His debut album, HP, was released in 2022, featuring original music.

Patel collaborated with producer Ed Sheeran on the Yesterday’s soundtrack. He also collaborated with Amazon Prime Video for The Aeronauts, and HBO Max for Station Eleven. The album HP included contributions from producer James Flannigan and songwriter Dan Smith.
