Halle Bailey
Halle Bailey is an American singer and actress, best known as one-half of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle and for starring as Ariel in the 2023 live-action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” alongside Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Bailey rose to prominence after her and her sister’s cover videos of popular songs went viral on YouTube. With their captivating harmonies and soulful interpretations, Bailey and her sister quickly gained a following and eventually caught the attention of music mogul Beyoncé, who signed both Halle and Chloe Bailey to her Parkwood Entertainment label. The sisters have since released multiple critically acclaimed projects, including the EP “Sugar Symphony” and the album “Ungodly Hour.” In addition to her musical career, Bailey has also pursued acting, appearing in various television shows and films, including the Disney Channel original movie “A Wrinkle in Time.”
