Jonah Hauer-King is a British-American actor who is best known for starring as Prince Eric in the 2023 live-action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” alongside Halle Bailey as Ariel. He was born on May 30, 1995, in London, England, and grew up in a multicultural family with British and Jewish-American roots. Hauer-King studied at the prestigious Cambridge University and later trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He has appeared in a variety of productions, including the BBC miniseries “Little Women,” the war drama “World on Fire,” and the film “A Dog’s Way Home.”
