David Gilmour
David Gilmour is an English musician best known for his role as the lead guitarist and vocalist for Pink Floyd, a band he joined in 1968. He played a key role in shaping the sound of albums like The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, which became landmarks in rock music. Gilmour has also released solo albums, including About Face and Rattle That Lock.
In his career, Gilmour collaborated with Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason in Pink Floyd. He worked with Kate Bush on her album The Sensual World and contributed to Pete Townshend‘s White City. He also collaborated with David Crosby and Graham Nash on his solo work and featured on Paul McCartney’s Run Devil Run album.
