Nathan Kress is an American actor and director, who became a household name through his role as Freddie Benson in the Nickelodeon series “iCarly.”

Kress’s career took a definitive turn with the launch of “iCarly” in 2007, a series that redefined teen sitcoms with its innovative plot and unforgettable characters. His role as the tech-savvy Freddie Benson brought Kress into the limelight, his performance widely admired for its authenticity and depth. Following the end of “iCarly” in 2012, Kress didn’t limit himself to television but expanded his career into films, notably starring in “Into the Storm” and “Tell Me How I Die.” His work behind the camera is equally significant, with him making his directorial debut in the revived series of “iCarly” in 2021.
