Pete Townshend is an English musician. He is the co-founder of the band Who, one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Pete Townshend was the principal songwriter for the group where he wrote more than 100 songs for 12 of the Who’s studio albums. The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
