Daveed Diggs
Daveed Diggs is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and rapper. He’s best known for playing both Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the musical Hamilton, which won him the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical. As a musician, he’s known for being in the rap group Clipping and a song titled “Puppy for Hanukkah”. His notable TV roles include Black-ish, The Get Down, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. In film, he voice-acted, wrote a song, and performed it in Zootopia (2016). He also provided the voice, wrote songs, and sang as Sebastian in the Disney live-action remake of The Little Mermaid (2023), which starred Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King.
