Clare Balding is an English broadcaster, journalist, and author. She has been appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). Clare presents for BBC Sport, Channel 4, BT Sport and is the current president of the Rugby Football League (RFL). She has been awarded the “Biography/Autobiography of the Year” by the National Book Awards. BBC Radio show Woman’s Hour named Claire Balding one of the 100 most powerful women in the UK in 2013.
