Cecily Strong
Cecily Strong is an American actress and comedian known primarily for her work on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) from 2012 to 2022.
Strong began her career on SNL, where she portrayed characters like “The Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation with at a Party” and did impressions of public figures such as Melania Trump, Jeanine Pirro, and Rachel Maddow. In addition to her SNL work, Strong has appeared in various television series and films, including “The Awesomes,” an animated series where she voiced Kendra, and the movie “Ghostbusters” (2016), in which she played Jennifer Lynch. Her voice acting extends to other animated series such as “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy.”
Cecily Strong has collaborated with many prominent actors and comedians. On SNL, she worked with Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kenan Thompson. Outside of SNL, Strong appeared alongside Melissa McCarthy in “Ghostbusters,” Fred Armisen in “Schmigadoon!,” and Ty Burrell in “The Awesomes.” She also worked with Keegan-Michael Key in “Schmigadoon!” and Bill Hader in “The Awesomes.”
