Catherine Bell is an American actress known for her role as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie in the CBS series JAG (1997–2005) and as Cassie Nightingale in the Hallmark Channel’s The Good Witch franchise (2008–2021), which includes a series and multiple television films. She also starred as Denise Sherwood in Army Wives (2007–2013), appearing in over 100 episodes.

In JAG, Bell acted opposite David James Elliott, appearing across nine seasons and contributing to multiple crossover episodes with NCIS. In The Good Witch, she appeared alongside Bailee Madison and James Denton, leading both the film series and subsequent TV adaptation. On Army Wives, she shared key storylines with Kim Delaney and Sally Pressman. She guest-starred on NCIS: Los Angeles (2019–2020), reprising her JAG role in scenes with LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. In Bruce Almighty (2003), she appeared with Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston. She also starred in the Lifetime movie Last Man Standing (2011), acting opposite Anthony Michael Hall.
