Brenda Strong
Brenda Strong is an American actress known for her role as Mary Alice Young in Desperate Housewives, which earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance. She played Ann Ewing in Dallas (2012–2014) and Nora Walker in Everwood. Her television credits also include recurring roles in Seinfeld, Supergirl, and 13 Reasons Why. She appeared in the films Starship Troopers (1997) and Spaceballs (1987), and performed on stage in Los Angeles productions including Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
She portrayed Sue Ellen Mishke in multiple episodes of Seinfeld, interacting directly with Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s character. In Supergirl, she played Lillian Luthor, sharing scenes with Katie McGrath. In 13 Reasons Why, she appeared as Nora Walker alongside Timothy Granaderos. In Desperate Housewives, she narrated all eight seasons, working across the ensemble cast including Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman. Her role in Dallas involved scenes with Josh Henderson and Patrick Duffy. In Starship Troopers, she acted with Casper Van Dien and Denise Richards.
