Ben McKee
Ben McKee is an accomplished musician, best known as the bassist for the popular American rock band, Imagine Dragons. McKee’s breakout role came with the release of Imagine Dragons’ debut studio album, “Night Visions,” in 2012. The album was a massive commercial success, spawning hit singles such as “Radioactive,” “Demons,” and “It’s Time.” Other members of the band include Daniel Platzman, Daniel Wayne Sermon, Andrew Tolman, Dan Reynolds, Andrew Beck, DANiiVORY, Brittany Tolman, Dave Lemke, and Aurora Florence.
Since then, McKee has continued to be a driving force behind Imagine Dragons’ success. He has played on all of the band’s subsequent albums, including “Smoke + Mirrors” (2015), “Evolve” (2017), and “Origins” (2018). The band has sold millions of albums and singles worldwide and has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in 2014.
McKee has also collaborated with a number of other artists throughout his career. He has worked with prominent musicians such as Kendrick Lamar, Kygo, and Khalid. In addition, he has been involved in a number of charitable endeavors, including fundraising for victims of the Las Vegas shooting in 2017 and performing at benefit concerts for various non-profit organizations.
