Señor Hulk (Dog)
Lionel Messi has a dog named Señor Hulk that’s a giant French Mastiff, also known as a Douge de Bordeaux. Hulk was given to Messi as a gift from his partner, Antonela Roccuzzo in February 2016. And his mastiff grew to massive proportions in a few short months, reaching around 110 lbs when he was fully grown. At the time of the massive growth spurt, Messi also happened to be out for four months or longer due to an injury.
What happened to Messi’s dog Hulk?
The Daily Mail reported that in a December 2023 interview with Migue Granados, Messi said that he decided to leave Hulk to be cared for at his home in Barcelona, instead of moving him to Miami with him. The reason being that Hulk being 7 years old at the time, was sadly coming close to his age limit and will eventually need to be put to sleep. And Messi didn’t want to put him through the stress of flying him to Miami.
