Tobey Maguire
Tobey Maguire is an American actor and producer who first rose to prominence in the late 1990s with his breakout role in the teen comedy-drama film, The Ice Storm. Maguire’s most iconic roles was as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007). The films each topped the charts one after another and became Maguire’s entrance into the early stages of The Marvel Cinematic Universe. Maguire has also appeared in films such as Pleasantville, The Cider House Rules, and Seabiscuit, showcasing his range as an actor in both dramatic and comedic roles.
Maguire has also produced several movies through his production company, Material Pictures. He co-produced the film, The 5th Wave starring Chloë Grace Moretz, and was an executive producer on the award-winning drama, The Details.
Maguire has collaborated with several influential celebrities throughout his career. He starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in the Spider-Man trilogy, and has also worked with Leonardo DiCaprio in the films, The Great Gatsby and Don’s Plum. Maguire has also appeared in the film, Brothers, with Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal.
