Gabrielle Monique Union is an American actress. After interning at a talent agency while in college, she started auditioning for small acting roles. This led to a series of TV roles in the late 1990s, followed up with many TV and movie roles through the 2000s. Her first supporting film roles came in 1999 with She’s All That and 10 Things I Hate About You. Her breakout role was in the 2000 teen comedy Bring It On. Her next notable role was starring in Michael Bay’s Bad Boys II (2003) with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Most recently she’s known for starring in the TV series Being Mary Jane, which premiered in 2013. She has also been married to NBA star Dwyane Wade since 2014.
