Alexis Bledel (born Kimberly Alexis Bledel September 16, 1981) is an American actress and model. She was raised in Houston, Texas by two Spanish speaking parents, Nanette and Martin Bledel. She’s married to Vincent Kartheiser from Mad Men and the couple have a son together.
She’s known for her role as Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls (2000-7) and the subsequent Netflix reunion series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016). Bledel played Winnie Foster in Tuck Everlasting (2002), and Becky Sin City (2005) alongside Jessica Alba and Elijah Wood. She also appeared in Post Grad (2009), and in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005 and 2008) alongside with Blake Lively. She played Beth Dawes in Mad Men in 2012, where she met her future husband. In 2017, she won an Emmy Award for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale alongside Elisabeth Moss.
