George and Amal Clooney have just welcomed twins into their home with Ella and Alexander. They already have several rescued fur babies at home, with two cocker spaniels and one basset hound. Last month, Camp Cocker Rescue announced they rescued nine cocker spaniels and needed help, which was where the Clooney’s adopted their spaniels.
These poor pups were from a backyard breeder that kept them in rough conditions. They were all nervous and needed serious cleaning and grooming. Some were injured, infected and needing surgery. The rescue center reached out on Facebook for donations because these rescues all needed serious help. The rescue volunteers were blown away, as they quickly received a big $10,000 donation from an anonymous donor. They asked the donors if they could reveal their names, to help inspire other people to donate. They agreed and were surprized to find out it was the spaniel-loving Clooneys! With their celebrity endorsement, the rescue is getting tons of press, helping them reach their fundraising goals. George first adopted Einstein from this rescue in 2010 and Louie in 2013. In 2015, the couple adopted basset hound Milie for another rescue center.
