Forget Cat Cafes, Let’s All Go to Bristol’s Cat Pub!

Remember when I said let’s all go to the cat pub? Well, I’m sorry to say if you happen to be a child, dog, or a group of humans on a pub crawl, you’ll be denied entry (because the cats’ comfort is a priority here). But if you’re a fun-and-fur loving human that’s of legal human drinking age, you’re welcome at the Bag O Nails pub in Bristol, England!

This fantastic establishment became feline-friendly when they got their first kitty, Malcolm, in December 2011. Since then, the Bag O Nails pub keeps around a dozen cats on the kibble payroll. At one time, they had around 24 (but it got a little hectic with that many).

You’ll usually find the cats socializing with the pub’s patrons.

Or dancing up a storm!

It’s not all fun for feline employees. They do have to put some time in behind the bar.

And you can be they never skip a break.

…But do they really have to all take their lunchbreak at the same time?

They have a variety of premium beer and snack boxes around the pub for when they need some space.

Or for when they’re making sure no one is cheating at poker. (He’s just resting his eyes)

In rare cases, they may end up in cat prison. But don’t worry, judging by its roof, it looks pretty easy for any criminal kitties to bust out.
