Daniel Radcliffe and Stephen Colbert Laugh (And Lie) to Help Get Rescue Dogs Adopted

For Stephen Colbert’s latest episode of “Rescue Dog Rescue,” he teamed up with Daniel Radcliffe to get some dogs adopted while getting some laughs. If you’re not familiar with the popular segment, it sees Colbert bring on a celebrity guest to showcase pups up for adoption – All while telling ludicrous lies about them. And believe it or not, the lies (and the celebrity endorsement) have seen a 100% adoption rate for each episode!

Highlights include the Harry Potter star promoting one pup by saying, “Dakota knows how to use the toilet just like a human. She grabs her phone then disappears for 40 minutes.” Radcliffe also holds up a pup named Harry Pupper and says, “He is a powerful wizard. I’m sorry, I read that wrong, he’s a powerful wizzer. You’re going to want to put a pad down for him.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert also shared a behind-the-scenes peek at the puppies.

Colbert’s “Rescue Dog Rescue” is partnered with North Shore Animal League America, with Radcliff also appearing in an Instagram story to promote the rescue organization.
