Biss the Newfoundland and Olee the Duck Do Everything Together (Including Their Own Children’s Book!)

Biss the Newfoundland Dog (aka Sven) and Olee the Duck (aka Olaf) have been holding it down as BFFs for several years now and somehow we haven’t featured this iconic duck and doggy duo! So we wanted to change that and help spread the heartwarming story of their unique friendship.

Biss and Olee live on a hobby farm in Oklahoma called Broken Aorrow with their human Jessie Vallier. Jessie adopted Biss around the same time she added a flock of ducks to her farm.

Then tragedy hit: A coyote attacked the flock… With only Olee surviving.

Just a few days after the attack, the lonely Olee started shadowing Biss, who was just a puppy at the time.

With Biss fully grown, the pair haven’t let their 160lbs to 5lbs size difference stand in the way of their friendship. Biss is your typical gentle giant with Olee clearly more hyped than his pal.

They also have other animal friends on the farm, who they all get along with great.

The pair’s beautiful friendship brought so much joy to their followers, Jessie decided to publish a children’s book series titled The Adventures of Biss & Olee.

So far their first book, Play on the Farm is available to purchase with two more planned! You can follow these two besties at @aventuresofbissandolee on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
