Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas continued her tradition of celebrating the birthday of her rescue dog Elvis on Instagram. This senior Maltese was celebrated with a gallery of adorable photos, including a cameo by Armas’ other rescue dog, Salsa the Havanese (who was adopted in 2020).
Like most years, she kept her post simple with a gallery of special moments with the pup that’s been by her side since 2009. But last year, in a now-deleted Instagram post, Ana threw a birthday party, complete with cake, while on the set of her John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina.

Armas adopted Elvis when she was 18, after moving to Spain from Cuba to start her acting career. Elvis accompanied Ana when she moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to try her luck in Hollywood – With her breakout role costarring with Ryan Gosling in Blade Runner 2049 and receiving a Golden Globe Best Actress nomination for her role in Knives Out.
Then at the age of 14, Elvis started his acting career. In the 2022 biopic Blonde, Ana played Marilyn Monroe with Elvis playing to role of Monroe’s real-life dog named Mafia Honey.
