Shohei Ohtani’s Dog Decoy Throws the First Pitch at the Dodgers vs Orioles Game

Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles was packed with fur-loving fans to see Decoy, the MLB’s current MVP (Most Valuable Pup), throw the first pitch. And on the receiving end? His proud dad and human MVP Shohei Ohtani.

To celebrate his and his dad Ohtani’s bobblehead night, Decoy (aka Dekopin) confidently followed in his pitcher papa’s footsteps.

And yes it wasn’t really a traditional human-style pitch, but the crowd still went wild for the Dutch Kooikerhondje (that’s his breed) fetching the ball for Shohei. Besides the adoring crowd, Decoy was also rewarded with a treat and some skritches. Oh and the Dodgers ended up beating the Orioles 6-4 if professional human sports are your thing.
