Poncho is a very good boy and police dog who went viral for doing a very cute CPR demonstration, with the original Tweet getting over 2 million views in the first few days. The 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel and his handler were part of a first aid awareness event for school kids in Madrid, Spain. In the video, Poncho immediately aids his hander the moment he collapses, like a true professional.
Poncho the Paramedic Pup Went Viral for Performing CPR on a Police Officer
Ok ok, the demonstration was staged. The police officer didn’t need help and Poncho, while very convincing, wasn’t actually performing CPR. But the crowd definitely enjoyed the show and it was a great way to introduce the concept to children.
"Heroica" actuación de nuestro #Compañerosde4Patas Poncho, que no dudó ni un instante en "salvar la vida" del agente, practicando la #RCP de una manera magistral.

But note Poncho is an actual canine police veteran in Madrid. His real doggy job is detecting explosives and searching for missing people!
