Tauren Wells' Pets

Tauren Wells is an American Christian pop artist, primarily known for his work as a solo musician and earlier as a member of the band Royal Tailor.

Wells gained prominence with his sophomore studio album, “Citizen of Heaven,” released in January 2020. The album featured hit singles like “Like You Love Me” and “Famous For (I Believe),” which achieved commercial success. “Citizen of Heaven” debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums Chart and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2021. Before embarking on a solo career, Wells was part of the Christian pop rock band Royal Tailor, which disbanded in 2015. The band’s debut album, “Black & White,” was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 54th Grammy Awards.

Wells has worked with a variety of artists and personalities. For instance, his album “Citizen of Heaven” featured guest appearances by Steven Furtick, Jenn Johnson, Kirk Franklin, and Rascal Flatts. Additionally, Royal Tailor had the support of Leeland and Jack Mooring, who helped the band secure a record deal. Wells has also collaborated with Chuck Butler and Jordan Sapp on multiple projects, including the production of his hit single “Like You Love Me.”

Wells has received several awards and distinctions throughout his career. His album “Citizen of Heaven” won the GMA Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year at the 2020 GMA Dove Awards. Moreover, the album’s singles have consistently performed well on the US Hot Christian Songs chart, with “Famous For (I Believe)” peaking at No. 3.
