Sandra Mae Frank's Pets

Sandra Mae Frank is an American actress known for her role as Dr. Elizabeth Wilder in the NBC series New Amsterdam. Frank began her acting career in theatre, performing in Spring Awakening on Broadway as part of the Deaf West Theatre production. Her portrayal of Dr. Wilder on New Amsterdam was notable for showcasing a Deaf surgeon using American Sign Language (ASL). Frank has also appeared in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist and Daybreak.

Frank worked with Ryan Eggold on New Amsterdam, developing the dynamic between their characters. She collaborated with Jane Levy on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. In Spring Awakening, Frank performed alongside Marlee Matlin. She worked with Colin Ford on Daybreak and also performed with Mandy Patinkin in a stage production. Additionally, she has worked with the National Association of the Deaf on initiatives promoting representation of Deaf actors in the entertainment industry.
