Sam Richardson
Sam Richardson is an American actor and comedian known for his role as Richard Splett on HBO’s Veep (2014–2019). He co-created and starred in Detroiters (2017–2018) and appeared in the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty (2022–2023). His film work includes roles in The Tomorrow War (2021), Werewolves Within (2021), and Hocus Pocus 2 (2022).
On Veep, Richardson acted alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, and Timothy Simons. In Detroiters, he co-starred with Tim Robinson. In The Tomorrow War, he appeared with Chris Pratt and Yvonne Strahovski. In Werewolves Within, he shared the screen with Milana Vayntrub. In Hocus Pocus 2, he acted alongside Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy. He guest-starred on Ted Lasso, performing with Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham. Richardson has also provided voice work for animated series including HouseBroken and BoJack Horseman.
