Ravi Patel's Pets

Ravi Patel is an American actor, producer, writer, and director. He is best known for writing, directing, and starring in the 2014 autobiographical documentary Meet the Patels and for a main role in the Fox sitcom Grandfathered. He has also appeared in television shows such as Scrubs, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Transparent. He is the co-founder of the production company called Ravi Patel Productions. He has earned several awards for his work, including a Producers Guild Award for his documentary Meet the Patels. Ravi Patel is a passionate advocate for diversity in Hollywood and has been a vocal supporter of more inclusive roles for people of color and other marginalized communities. He is also a published author, having written the book, ‘It’s All Relative: Adventures Up and Down the World’s Family Tree’. In 2023, he starred in the Fox sitcom Animal Control with Alvina August, Vella Lovell, Michael Rowland, Grace Palmer, Gerry Dee, Kelli Ogmundson, and Joel McHale.
